The First Straw

A message from Joey Gerdin:

This past year the Minnesota House Republicans lost 14 seats. 14 of those elections were lost by less than 1000 votes. 10 of those elections were lost by less than 500 votes and 5 elections were lost by a mere 100 votes. To prevent this from happening again, we need your help.

On Wednesday August 22, 2007 the House Republican Campaign Committee is holding a presidential Straw Poll. All the Republican presidential candidates have been invited and we are hoping most of the candidates will have a campaign representative to answer your important questions. Each voting ticket is $100.

The HRCC is raising money specifically to help Minnesota Republican House Members win back the House seats that were lost last fall.

The event will take place at the River Centre in St. Paul. Doors open at 5:00 PM and polls are open from 5:30-8:00 PM.

Thank you for all the support that you have given us in the past, although we had some losses, we also had some victories which is due in part to all the support we receive from you!
