Leahy wins GOP primary in 44A race:

Tracy Leahy of St. Louis Park beat fellow Republican and St. Louis Park resident Darrell W. Brown on Sept. 9 to win the GOP primary in the state House District 44A race.

Leahy, a homemaker and former teacher, will face incumbent Rep. Steve Simon, DFL-St. Louis Park, in the Nov. 4 general election.
